Cheryl Hucks, principal and owner of Casual Elegance Design has been decorating for over 20 years.
She is a lifetime resident of High Point , NC. where she was a principal owner with her late husband Ken in Ken Hucks & Associates Insurance. Cheryl received a teaching degree from UNCG and taught both elementary and preschool for many years in High Point. In addition, Cheryl worked in sales with Jaspar Cabinet, Hickory Chair, Trogdon and Catnapper at the International Home Furniture Market. |

| After Ken passed away in 2006 Cheryl decided to live out her passion and founded Casual Elegance by Cheryl. In a short time, Cheryl's work has been featured in both Guilford Woman Magazine and the Greensboro News and Record. Pease sir blog featured Cheryl's "green" environmentally friendly room at the Southern Ideal Home Show saying "It was a great example of an Italian Inspired Room including no-VOC paint, reused canvas for drawing, eco-conscious flooring and antiques." |

Cheryl lives with her two dogs, Cocoa and Casey. Her interests include traveling, gardening, dancing and tennis. She also enjoys spending time with her 3 grandsons. |
